Essential Surface -a womenswear print design collection-
The Spring/Summer 2019 collection is all about playing with different elements of surface design. print design is mixed with details of transfer printing and experimental pattern cutting. Inspired by different artists and my own photography I created a colourful allover print design women’s collection. Every print design is printed on a large scale and is represented in smaller pieces on the patterns. The patterns of the garments were draped on the manikin and then further developed on a flat pattern, concentrating on straight lines and geometric shapes. This collection was developed during my master thesis at HTW-Berlin in MA Fashion Design.
